Uneventful

For the most part this week/weekend was uneventful. Monday Steve went and picked up the the trailer for the boat. Steve has been adjusting to the whole school thing. He has been studying, getting up early and driving to Ft. Myers. He was overwhelmed with chem so he switched to intro to chem. Other than that he likes his classes. He was "fired" from his job last week for being annoying. He kept asking the boss what can I do next, what should I do, etc. The boss finally said this can be your last day!!

My cousin was in from Arizona this week. We have not seen each other in 10 years. It has been tons of fun hanging out and reminiscing about the old days. Friday we set up the boat on the new trailer and gave her a well deserved bath. Saturday we took her out on a voyage with cousin Matt and cousin Autumn. We had a great time fishing and being merry. After our boating adventures, Autumn and I went to the beach and watched the sunset. We spent the evening showing off our bowling skills or lack there of. We lost both set of games.....you would think after 30 frames that you would eventually see some sort of improvement.

Things we learned this weekend
  • Leaving a boat hooked up to the battery will not keep the charge which equals dead boat
  • Girls are better fisherman (me)
  • Bowling skills do not run in our family
  • Chips, dip, alcohol are not a good diet
  • Weekends go by too fast
  • Family is a wonderful thing
  • We don't need a big house, big boat, and lots of money to have fun
