NYE 2011

Did you know your head can have its own pulse?  Yeah me neither.  Until today.  Maybe that translates into a really fun time. With that being said......let me recap our NYE.

When I was little there was a girl that lived down the way from us (similar to the little boy that lived down the lane).  We used to hang out together and then her family moved away in 8th grade.  We lost touch but with good ole facebook we were reconnected.   Last year Andrew and I went to Key West for NYE and we decided it should be an annual thing.  We asked if they wanted to go with us and they were all for it.  We tried to book a hotel but unfortunately there wasn't any availability.  The Key West Express makes a special trip down for NYE.  The boat leaves Fort Myers at 11am and then leaves Key West at 2am.  It was a LONG day but totally fun. 

There was three options of places to watch Key Wests version of the ball drop.  We happened to watch a wench drop down at midnight. 

I have no idea how we started talking to these people and how we found out that live 2 houses down from us.  It was quite embarrassing when they said, "oh you are the guy that has Thursday night garage beers."  Then Andrew said, "oh you are the guy that drives the black so and so."  What a small world!!  Hopefully one day they can come to Thursday night garage beer.
