How about this? Two blogs in two weeks.  Can I get a whoop whoop?

Last weekend
Andrew and I actually hung out all weekend.  We left the house on Friday morning and didn't come back till late at night.  We are trying to keep our vacation mentality alive and not get caught up in all of the "to do".  We had the perfect balance of running errands and tourist adventures.  We ended the night watching a band at the promenade. My favorite guy was an 80 year old that could move.  I nicknamed him twinkle toes. He could get down!  Second best weekend of the year.

Paint
We finished the floors a couple of weeks ago and now are on to paint.  We have spent the last two weeks buying paint samples and trying to pick a paint.  The paint guy at Sherwin Williams got to know us on a fist name basis.  It is amazing how much a color changes with certain light.  When we bought the house it was freshly painted but unfortunately in has a strong yellow undertone. In natural light it is bearable, artificial light it is horrendous.   They also used a cream on all the doors, trims and a white on the crown molding.  Whomp whomp whomp. It has been driving me crazy that it didn't match.  So along with new paint on the walls we are also having all the trim and doors painted.  After this project we should be done for awhile or at least a month or so.  Up next is converting the stairs from carpet to wood.  And then we should be done......Stay tuned for finished project. 

Our friends were in town last week and spilled the beans that they were getting married at the courthouse on Monday.  We went up there to celebrate their nupitals in the good ole USA.  Afterwards they rented a boat and we cruised around Sarasota bay. It was perfect!
