Michigan Celebration

We spent labor day weekend in Michigan where my parents planned a "Michigan celebration" for us. It was amazing! We saw so many of our old friends and met new ones. It was great to celebrate our up and coming marriage with all of the people that are unable to make it down to Florida. My mom, Mike and their neighbors put together a heck of a party. My parents were in Florida from Fri-Monday for my graduation and then went back to MI and had the party on Saturday. It was nice seeing them twice in the matter of a week. Andrew and I were really convinced we could live in Michigan until we woke up Saturday and froze our Floridian buns off. My mom has had nightmares over the weather for the party. Well it didn't rain like she envisioned, but sure enough it was high of 60 with 30 mile hour winds. The good news is that the tent had walls and we were able to put heaters in there and it really became a cozy place. So it rained on my graduation, was freezing at the Michigan shower so that means it is going to be nice perfect weather for the wedding right? Oh one can hope!!

We are truly thankful to have such wonderful people in our life. We have received so many wonderful gifts and the effort that our families and friends have put into creating lasting memories is priceless. Here are some of the pictures from the weekend!
