Xmas Tree 2012

This year we decided to get our Xmas tree at a different farm place.  If you remember correctly we haven't always had the best luck at Lowes so we decided to try Costco.  Andrew wasn't sold on the idea and even tried to pass.  I couldn't pass up the deal.....it was 29.99 for a 7-8ft tree.  We paid twice that price at Lowes.  So after some nudging he found a great tree.  We didn't have any problems putting it on the roof of my car, we didn't manage to tie the doors shut and we made it home with the tree in one place.  Things were looking up.  Andrew set it up and was quite content with the Costco tree.  That was about a week ago.  We had it as a goal every night to put the lights on the tree and decorate it but we never seemed to make it happen.  Andrew promised that he would put the lights on the tree while I was in Tampa this weekend . I came home to a bare tree.  I finally said that if the tree wasn't decorated by tonight we we going with the au natural look.  Needless to say he started to put the lights on the tree and discovered a huge split up the middle.  Whomp whomp whomp.  This was a couple of weeks ago and now the tree is looking a little saggy.  We just have another week or so to go.  One of these days we will do it right.
